  • Founded and lead Emory’s first and only urbanism related club
  • Served as chief audio engineer for 2 years, growing from basic audio editing skills to mixing live shows, live streaming “tiny desk” style in-studio concerts, and training over 150 DJs
  • Elected as president as a senior: lead weekly meetings, managed a $15,000 operational budget, planned events with local artists, and coordinated with offices at Emory

Research Experience


Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) @ Emory May 2025-August 2025

  • Conducted intensive research, including participant observation, archival research, and interviews in preparation to write honors thesis, under supervision of Dr. Julia Tulke
  • Presented findings at the SURE symposium

Independent Research in Christchurch, New Zealand May-December 2024

Product: “The Urban Archive: Rebuilding Christchurch”

  • Designed and executed an independent research project, conducted long-form interviews, site visits, archival research, and a literature review to investigate the rebuilding process of Christchurch, New Zealand after an 
  • earth quake in 2011
  • Synthesized research into an hour long podcast-style audio report, weaving personally narrated findings with recorded interviews, made publicly available and presented research as one of few undergraduates at the Society of Architectural Historians conference May 2025
  • Received competitive funding from the Emory Art History history department to support travel
Emory History Department Research Assistantship March-August 2024

Product: The Kudzu Experience Website
  • Selected from class cohort and hired as a research assistant to build an online exhibit titled “The Migrant South”, a collection of online multi-media exhibit researching and discussing the immigrant experience in Atlanta and beyond 
  • Utilized HTML and CSS, Omeka, and ArcGIS skills to build a visually appealing and user-friendly online “museum.”
